California Wildflower Honey

Every jar is a love letter to the flowers.

Honey was the first thing we ever made at Flamingo Estate. Before the candles, before the soaps, before the vegetables, there were the Bees. Tiny golden workers moving through the garden, gathering the flavor of everything in bloom: Sage, Rosemary, Lavender, Avocados, Macadamias, Passion Fruit, Apples, Eucalyptus, Jasmine, Wattle, Citrus. More than 300 varieties of plants in total, all providing nutrients and food for the Bees, and flavor to their Honey.

Honey carries everything we believe in: patience, pleasure, the garden, and the hard work of the natural world. It was our first product, and in many ways it is still the purest expression of who we are. Each jar is 100% raw and unfiltered, made far away from pesticides and chemicals. It tastes like the garden dipped in California sunshine.

This season’s harvest is richly floral and deeply golden, with notes of wild Sage, California Buckwheat, Golden Currant, orchard herbs, and mountain Wildflowers. Sweet, but not too sweet. Aromatic, generous, and alive.

Ella W. ★★★★★

The texture is what got me—thick enough to mound on a spoon but it melts into tea instantly. I've been drizzling it over yogurt all week and it's got this floral finish that's way more interesting than the plain clover stuff I used to buy.

Steven C. ★★★★★

I opened the jar and the scent hit me like a walk through a sun-soaked meadow in midsummer. It's sweeter and more floral than the generic clover stuff I used to grab, and it drizzles over my morning oatmeal like liquid gold.

Henry E. ★★★★★

The texture is beautifully thick and creamy, not watery like a lot of store honey I've tried. I've been drizzling it over plain yogurt every morning and it's become my favorite little ritual, you can really taste the wildflowers in every bite.
