Sage's botanical name comes from the Latin word "salvere", which means, "to be saved." Sage is our savior, its scent, our origin story. There are over 900 species of Sage worldwide, with 19 of them having their origins in California. Among these native species are Hummingbird Sage, Pitcher Sage, Black Sage, Purple Sage, and White Sage — all currently growing wild at the Estate. The abundance of Sage in the Garden inspired the aroma of this Candle. It’s deeply cleansing and camphorous, softened by a hint of sweetness.

I've burned sage bundles for years and always hated the lingering smoke, so this candle surprised me — it's the same green, herbal scent without the ash. The glass looks nice on my shelf too, though I do wish it came in a bigger size.

Benjamin U. ★★★★★

It’s rare for a candle to smell as clean as it sounds on paper, but this one manages it beautifully. I’ve had it burning in the living room for a few evenings and the sage comes through herbaceous and calming without ever turning soapy. The burn’s been even, no tunneling, which is more than I can sa

David ★★★★★

The moment I lit this candle, that fresh, earthy sage note filled the whole room—it's like the description says, truly a calming scent. The burn has been even and clean, and I can already tell this will be a repeat purchase.
